Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 9 Oct 2026

These terms apply when you book a training with Body Awareness Institute or get a digital product from us. Please read them before you pay your deposit.

1. Who we are

Body Awareness Institute is run by Body Awareness Center OÜ (“we”, “us”), a private limited company registered in Estonia under registry code 14148717, Telliskivi tn 49-39, 10611 Tallinn, Estonia. Email: info@bodyawareness.ee, phone: +372 529 9986. Board member: Eryk Wiesław Dobosz. We are not registered for VAT.

2. Booking a training

2.1. Send us an enquiry by the form or by email. An enquiry is not a booking, and it costs nothing.

2.2. We reply personally with the details and payment information. A €300 deposit secures your place. Your booking is confirmed, and the contract concluded, when we receive the deposit and confirm it by email. Our confirmation email includes these terms and the model withdrawal form.

2.3. The deposit is part of the training fee. The rest of the fee is paid before the training starts.

2.4. If you book as a business (for example, your company pays and is invoiced), please tell us when you book. Section 4 (withdrawal) and the consumer protections mentioned in these terms apply only to consumers, meaning people booking for purposes outside their trade, business or profession.

2.5. Trainings are for adults (18+).

3. Prices

  • Biodynamic Breathwork & Trauma Release (BBTRS®): €1,595 per module, plus accommodation & food at Männiku Metsatalu, booked with the training: twin room €490 / single room €600 per person.
  • Myofascial Energetic Release (MER®): €1,100 per module. Non-residential; accommodation is not included.

Prices are in euros and include VAT. Meals are included in the accommodation fee. Accommodation at Männiku Metsatalu is booked and handled through us, so the same cancellation and refund rules apply; there are no separate venue charges. The price that applies is the one shown in the calendar and in our confirmation email. Travel to the venue is not included.

4. Your 14-day right of withdrawal

4.1. If you are a consumer and book at a distance (by email, our web form or phone), you may withdraw from your booking within 14 days without giving a reason. The 14 days start on the day we confirm your booking by email (section 2.2).

4.2. To withdraw, send us a clear statement before the 14 days end, for example by email to info@bodyawareness.ee. You may use the model withdrawal form below, but you don’t have to. It is enough to send your statement before the period ends. We confirm receipt by email.

4.3. If you withdraw, we refund everything you have paid for the booking, including the deposit (and accommodation booked through us), without delay and at the latest 14 days after we receive your withdrawal. We use the payment method you used, unless you expressly agree otherwise, and you pay no fees for the refund. The €100 registration fee in section 5 does not apply to a withdrawal.

4.4. If the training starts within the 14 days, we can only let you take part if you expressly ask us to start before the withdrawal period ends. If you then withdraw after the training has started, you pay an amount in proportion to the part of the training provided up to your withdrawal, and we refund the rest. If the whole training has been provided within the 14 days at your express request, and you confirmed that you knew you would then lose the right of withdrawal, you can no longer withdraw.

4.5. After the 14 days, the cancellation rules in section 5 apply.

4.6. Businesses that book (section 2.4) have no right of withdrawal; section 5 applies to them from the start.

5. Deposit, cancellation and refunds

5.1. After the withdrawal period (section 4), you can still cancel your booking at any time:

  • More than 30 days before the training starts: we refund your deposit minus a €100 registration fee, and everything else you have paid.
  • Within 30 days before the start: the €300 deposit is non-refundable. Anything else you have paid can be moved to the next training; it is not refunded in cash.

5.2. To cancel, email info@bodyawareness.ee. The date we receive your email counts. Refunds are paid within 14 days of your cancellation, by the method you paid with.

5.3. Someone else can take your place. Instead of cancelling, you may pass your place to another person at no extra cost, if you tell us before the training starts and the person meets the requirements for that module (for example, has completed any earlier module needed) and accepts these terms.

5.4. Moving to a later date. Instead of cancelling, you may ask to move your booking to a later date of the same training. If we can offer you a place, everything you have paid is carried over, and no registration fee is charged.

5.5. If you miss part of a training or leave early for your own reasons, the €300 deposit is not refunded. Anything else you have paid can be moved to the next training; it is not refunded in cash. This doesn’t apply where we are responsible.

5.6. These cancellation rules are shown to you in summary on the registration form, before you register and before you pay the deposit. The €100 registration fee covers our actual administrative costs of handling your booking and cancellation. If we can fill your place with someone else, or if our actual costs are lower, we refund the difference proportionally, in line with § 42 of the Estonian Law of Obligations Act. This also applies to the deposit and to amounts that would otherwise only be moved to a later training. Your mandatory rights as a consumer are not affected.

6. Changes or cancellation by us

6.1. Sometimes we may need to change the venue, the schedule or a facilitator, for example because of illness or events outside our control. We tell you as soon as we can.

6.2. Groups are typically about 10–25 people. If we need to cancel a training, we will tell you this at the latest 30 days before the start.

6.3. If we cancel a training, you get a full refund of everything you have paid us for it (deposit, fees and accommodation booked through us) within 14 days. If you prefer, you can move to another date instead.

6.4. If we change the dates or venue significantly, you may cancel and get a full refund.

6.5. If we cancel or change a training because of events outside our control (for example, the facilitator’s illness, natural disasters or official restrictions), or if we cancel under section 6.2 and told you in time, we are not responsible for travel or other costs you booked yourself. In other cases, your statutory rights, including compensation for foreseeable costs, are not affected. We recommend flexible tickets or travel insurance.

7. Your health and responsibility

7.1. Our trainings are educational and experiential: you learn bodywork and breathwork by practising them yourself and with others. They are not medical, psychological, psychotherapeutic or psychiatric treatment. They are not intended to diagnose, treat or cure any illness, and they don’t replace advice, diagnosis or treatment from a doctor or other qualified health professional.

7.2. Breathwork, movement and touch can have strong physical and emotional effects. Intensive breathing can cause dizziness, tingling or cramping, and strong emotions or memories can come up. Talk to your doctor (or therapist) before you book, and tell us, if you:

  • are pregnant;
  • have epilepsy or a history of seizures;
  • have a heart condition (including arrhythmia), high or low blood pressure, an aneurysm, or have had a stroke;
  • have asthma, COPD or another serious respiratory condition;
  • have glaucoma or a detached retina;
  • have osteoporosis, a blood clotting disorder or thrombosis, or have had surgery, a fracture or a serious injury in the last 3 months;
  • have a diagnosed mental health condition, such as PTSD, a dissociative disorder, bipolar disorder, psychosis, severe depression or panic disorder. If you are in therapy, please tell your therapist about the training;
  • take medication that affects your heart rate, blood pressure, breathing or mood; or
  • are unsure whether the training suits you.

We treat this information as described in our Privacy Policy. We may ask for your doctor’s confirmation that you can take part. If we decide before the training that you can’t safely take part, we refund what you have paid.

7.3. During the training you are responsible for your own wellbeing: you decide how far to go. You can always pause, sit out an exercise, or say no to touch, without giving a reason. Tell the facilitator straight away if you feel unwell. Don’t take part under the influence of alcohol or recreational drugs.

7.4. The facilitator may ask you to pause or stop an exercise, or adapt it, if that is needed for your safety or the group’s. Please follow their safety instructions.

7.5. Please respect the privacy of other participants: what is shared in the group stays in the group. Don’t record sessions (audio or video) or photograph or film others without permission. Our own use of photos is described in the Privacy Policy.

7.6. A certificate from our trainings confirms the hours you completed. BBTRS® certificates are issued by us through our Kajabi portal; students get access when they register. A certificate is not a licence to practise a health profession. Check the rules in your own country before offering sessions to clients.

8. Digital products

8.1. Breathe for Stress and Sleep is sold through our store on Payhip. Its own Terms of Sale apply. In short: as an EU consumer you normally have 14 days to withdraw, but for digital content this right ends once the download is made available to you, if you expressly agreed to this and acknowledged it at checkout (see section 6 of the Breathe terms). Your rights if a file is faulty are not affected.

8.2. The Issue Lives in the Tissue is a free ebook, sent by email when you sign up for our newsletter. You may use it for your own learning. Please don’t sell, republish or share it as your own. It is an educational guide, not medical or psychological advice.

9. Intellectual property

Texts, photos, videos, handouts and other materials on this website and in our trainings belong to Body Awareness Center OÜ, Nisarga Eryk Dobosz or the other named rights holders. You may use training materials for your own learning, but not copy, publish or sell them, and you may not record sessions without our permission. BBTRS® is a trademark of Giten Tonkov, and MER® is a trademark of Satyarthi Peloquin. We use both with permission, as a licensed facilitator.

10. Liability

10.1. We are liable under the law for providing the training or product as agreed.

10.2. If harm is caused partly because you didn’t follow the facilitator’s safety instructions or didn’t tell us about relevant health information we asked for, this is taken into account, as the law provides. Please look after your personal belongings at the venue. We are only liable for their loss if we are at fault.

10.3. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury, for intentional or grossly negligent conduct, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, including towards consumers.

10.4. For customers who are not consumers, our total liability is limited to the price paid, as far as the law allows and subject to section 10.3.

11. Personal data, law and disputes

11.1. We process personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.

11.2. These terms are governed by Estonian law. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer rules of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in the courts there.

11.3. Please contact us first; we will try to solve any problem quickly. If we can’t agree, you can turn to the Consumer Disputes Committee of the Estonian Consumer Protection and Technical Regulatory Authority (TTJA), Endla 10a, 10122 Tallinn, ttja.ee (free for consumers), or, if you live in another EU country, the European Consumer Centre in your country.

11.4. The version of these terms in force when you book or buy applies to that booking or purchase. We may update the terms for future bookings; each version is dated.
