What it is

Six elements, one practice

BBTRS® (the Biodynamic Breathwork & Trauma Release System®) was developed by Giten Tonkov, author of Feel to Heal. It brings six elements together in a careful order: breath to open awareness, movement to loosen holding, sound and emotional expression to let feelings move without needing words, touch for support, and meditation to settle and integrate.

The work is paced and invitational. There is no forcing and no breath-holding, and you always choose how far to go.

Experiences

In their words

What BBTRS® students say about the training.

“Nisarga created such a safe space that I could explore and integrate hidden parts of my Self. He has helped me understand better how energy moves through the body and how to allow this energy to flow. I am deeply grateful for this amazing modality that allows me to uncover and release patterns and beliefs that no longer serve me and dance into authenticity.”
Rick, BBTRS® student
“After one week of breathing and meditation I feel more space inside. I have found a room below the layer of emotions, stories and patterns. Being there is full of peace and joy. No matter what makes me sad, angry or fearful, I can just pull myself back into that space — a real beautiful self is present there, full of light and relaxation. For that home-like space I would love myself more deeply. With the dissolution of my defence, more love flows out from the heart. I feel more able to connect with others. I no longer see anyone as black or white. Looking through these eyes, I have the ability to go into someone’s inside in a short time. I sleep better and deeper.”
Sylvie, BBTRS® student
“Biodynamic Breath & Trauma Release is among the most powerful trauma-release approaches I know. It changes people’s lives and brings them closer to themselves. It has freed my capacity to love myself and the people around me again. The accommodation, atmosphere and care at the training centre are also wonderful and support the process.”
Paula, BBTRS® student
“BBTRS® training has had a huge impact in my life. The integrity of the programme, the loving space held by Nisarga and the team, and the practices themselves are ripe ground for deep healing, revelation, expansion and connection. I feel blessed to have found this training. I have opened up in ways that surprise me. I am so much more in my body, attuned with it and feeling it in ways I never felt before. I feel freer to express myself — less inhibited. I feel softer, more graceful, lighter. The training, which incorporates learning to resonate with others, holding space and giving, has further awakened the desire within me to serve — to help in the healing of others and to be in service to the awakening of mankind.”
Daniela, BBTRS® student
“The Biodynamic Breathwork training for me is not only a training but a very deep self-transformational work. It was the piece missing in my work. As a Yin yoga teacher, myofascial release practitioner and mindfulness practitioner, my focus is to release imprints of trauma stored in my clients’ bodies. So BBTRS® is a very good tool to access it faster. Nisarga and the team are amazing — very professional, caring and fun! I feel blessed to get a chance to do this training with him.”
Beta, BBTRS® student
“You are an amazing teacher — everything comes from your heart. I'm so proud and grateful for being part of this precious BBTRS® training and group. One of the most complete approaches I've found. Estonian nature is so magical, and especially this venue with the training under the old oak trees.”
Katherine, BBTRS® student
